Welcome to IS&T- Our goal is to build a
state of the art information technology solution to enhance the
productivity and operational effectiveness of district offices,
schools and staff. With support from our Superintendent, Larry Powell, and the Fresno County
Board of Education, we have assembled a group of talented
people to make this goal a reality. Our main responsibilities fall
into the following areas:
Software Engineering &
Operations - Serves school districts and FCOE by providing
automated application systems. These include a payroll system,
personnel system, and financial system (budgeting, general ledger,
and accounts payable). Operations services include the printing of
warrants and reports, and support of equipment (local and
remote).
Networking & Technology
Support - Serves school districts and FCOE by providing
technical support for FCOEnet installation, management of wide-area
and local-area networks, and technical assistant for solving
problems with microcomputer hardware and software systems.
FCOEnet
Internet Service for Fresno County School District -
FCOEnet is a well established data communications network initiated
by the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. The purpose of this
network is to provide cost effective alternatives for access to our
financial services and the Internet. Our primary clients are the
school districts of Fresno County.
